Astronaut Doll tutorial

I’ve been slowly updating the patterns for the my little crochet doll and have just finished the Astronaut outfit.

The outfit comes with an LED front panel and although this might seem quite daunting I’ve added a Youtube tutorial just to show how easy it is.

I might save my rant on how poorly made commercial dolls are becoming for another day.

Making your own doll is a brilliant way to make a doll just for your child. Not necessarily looking like your child, but knowing how to make a doll and sharing a connection with your child’s imaginative world through doll making is such a wonderful thing to do.

The pattern is available through Ravelry and Etsy, and yes, I now charge a small price for the patterns. But you have to admit, they are wonderfully detailed.
